About me

I am a lifelong seeker for the deeper meaning of life

My story

In high school, I decided that I wanted to become a Chartered Accountant because I was doing well in accounting. I pursued an accounting degree at York University and was recruited by one of the top five accounting firms at that time. Although I was paid very well and invited to many gala events, I felt like I had a different calling in life.

During this transition period of my life, I met Amit, who I later married. While I was pregnant with our first daughter, I decided that I wanted to become a teacher, so I applied to the University of Toronto and was accepted to pursue a Bachelor of education. I knew I wanted to teach at some level and although I was getting closer to my life’s purpose, I still had some soul searching to do.

After the birth of our second daughter, writing came knocking at my front door and I finally felt like I was home. The question that I was asked in grade 11 about what I wanted to be when I grew up was finally answered. I was inspired to write my first book, Taste of Heaven, after experiencing a profound awakening to divine love in 2008. Everything else that has occurred from that point in time has been in perfect alignment with my soul’s destiny.

Who I am

My husband Amit and I are happily married with three lovely daughters, who are a constant reminder of the importance of staying grounded and present in our lives.

What I Do

I have been a life-long seeker for the deeper meaning of life, beyond the material forms and the world that we experience with our five senses. I am an author, life coach, reiki practitioner and motivational speaker.
